Held at the Molineux Stadium on 20th
November 2015 the Annual Dinner and Awards proved a winner with all who
attended.
Members and guests enjoyed a convivial meal
after which they were treated to a most entertaining speach from guest John
Parrot OBE, and the former Snooker Professional was not the only one on good
form, as the winners of this year’s awards were presented to the gathering by
Law Society President Richard Ennis.
Richard’s Presidential Year thus far has seen
him represent Wolverhampton Law Society
at the UN “Gift Box” roadshow in Wolverhampton and also in the Birmingham Half
Marathon where he put in a winning performance himself by raising the sum of £750.00
for local Charities Beacon Centre for the Blind and Action Heart.
Speaking after the Dinner Richard said:-
“It was fantastic to see such a good turnout
for the Annual Dinner. I do hope that everyone enjoyed themselves and we look
forward to seeing them again next year.
I would also like to take the opportunity to
say a big thank you to joint Social Secretaries Charlotte and Laura. They put
in a great deal of effort behind the scenes to make the event so successful.”
